In this class, we will make butter based and/or glycerin soaps from a base that has already been cured, cutting out the lye curing process. You will make 3-4 bars of soap. Learn to modify and build our arcade-style games using Scratch. Scratch is a programming language developed by MIT. Basic computer skills are required. Shannon Froehlich and the LSH Cross Country team will lead kids through a proper warm-up and focus on efficient running form. Participants will play various running games and have the opportunity to run in several youth cross country meets.
